Tokyo Mandarin - MARMORA

We’ve been eating at the Marmora location for 13 years and was one of our favorite restaurants. Sadly, not anymore. Vegetable fried rice was always so fluffy and delicious but now it’s soggy and loaded with oil. Vegetable Delight came with a hair ugh. Threw everything out. Bring back the original Tokyo Mandarin!

I was really hoping to find good Chinese near Ocean City NJ I ordered a chef specialty Jumbo Shrimp with Honey Walnuts The description said the shrimp would be crispy. It certainly was not. The shrimp was coated in an awful glaze that has no taste, like warm gelatin. The shrimp was served on a bed of steamed broccoli and that is exactly all you got on the dish, no other vegetables and there was no sweet flavor whatsoever.The shrimp was very limp, probably frozen.The description also mentioned Homeu glazed walnuts. When I unpacked my takeout I had a small container of dry walnuts, not glazed, no honeyI tossed this right in the garbage after my first taste

Not sure if I was given the wrong item or not but if I was given what I ordered (Pad Thai) this is the saddest excuse for it I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I’ve never been compelled to write a negative review before because I’ve never had food so bad that it was worth hurting people’s feelings but I was truly in disbelief when I opened my bag and saw white noodles. Super disappointing. The dish itself wasn’t entirely terrible but this is not pad thai.

Great menu ! Chinese, Japanese and Thai all on menu and food is great. Service is also good . My go to place for Asian Cuisine
