We both opted for the Fish of the Day, wild Barramundi with a warm salad, and shared a side of fries. The fish was fresh, moist, and flavorful. We paired our meal with a bottle of Pinot Gris from the varied wine list. Although we were too full for dessert, we plan to return on our next trip to Maroochydore to try the Eton Mess, if it's still available. The restaurant was a delight to dine in, with friendly and knowledgeable hosts who ensured we had an enjoyable evening. We highly recommend this restaurant for its exceptional food and service, and eagerly anticipate our next visit.
I ordered the beetroot cured salmon for lunch and it was beautifully presented. The salmon was delicious and expertly prepared. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and the view from the restaurant was stunning. The only downside was that the vinegar was a bit too tangy and overpowering in the dish, but I'm sure they will adjust that. I would definitely return! Many restaurants with a great view often prioritize that over everything else, so it was refreshing to find a restaurant with a view, friendly waiters, and amazing food.
The food was fantastic with a wide variety of options. Paul and Michael were incredibly personable, making our dining experience truly memorable.
I was lucky enough to attend a small wedding held at Ocean Ended Resaurant and was extremely impressed with this lovely venue. From the moment we entered, the hosts Paul and Michael made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant is beautifully located by the riverside as the name suggests. The evening began with champagne on arrival accompanied by delicious hors d'oeuvres. Once seated we were treated to generous mixed entree platters which included a mix of hot and cold food, all equally yummy! The main and dessert dishes were an alternate drop of 4, each different dish looked amazing. My main meal was roasted spatchcock served with pumpkin purée, melt in your mouth tender and full of flavour. Although it was a struggle, I managed to eat most of my dessert, the Santa Fe chocolate brownie, as a chocolate connoisseur it ticked all the boxes! I cannot fault this restaurant, the wonderful staff and fabulous food made this beautiful wedding an event to remember!
This prime located river front restaurant is tucked away form the tourists. The hosts Paul and Michael are great and the food was to die for. The wine list was extensive.
