Umami Ramen - MAROOCHYDORE

Yesterday evening, my wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time and were pleased to arrive shortly after the 5pm opening. It quickly filled up, indicating its popularity. We shared a portion of gyoza for a starter and agreed that it was the best we had ever tasted. We both tried ramen for the first time and found the noodles to be well cooked with a pleasant texture, and the pork-bone broth was flavorful and well-seasoned. I opted for the 'red & spicy' ramen, which had a nice hint of chili without being overly fiery. We appreciated that it was BYO, with a reasonable corkage fee of 5 bucks, allowing us to enjoy our favorite Chardonnay without spending too much. The total bill came to around 45 bucks, which we felt was a good value considering the delicious food we had enjoyed. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic - very polite, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere was laid-back and I will definitely be returning. During my first visit, there was a problem with my order, but the staff quickly explained and apologized for the error. They even gave me a complimentary dish or extra ingredient for my ramen. Their handling of the situation was excellent and I was so impressed that I had to come back. I can't fault them at all.

I finally found a place on the coast where I can enjoy my favorite Japanese dish without having to travel to Brisbane. This place doesn't take any shortcuts - it's the real deal. The soft boiled egg was the best I've ever had, and I've been to Japan many times. The only thing it needs is some more Japanese decor on the walls to make you feel like you're in Tokyo. Keep up the great work, and I'm sure word will spread about this place.

Finally found great ramen on the Sunshine Coast. The broth is soo flavourful and the pork just melts in the mouth. The gyoza is a must try as well. Will most definitely go back and try other things on the menu.
