Curry King Express - Maroubra

Each time I go there, it has generally been several months between visits and I keep telling myself that the food this time has to be good and hopefully, there are new owners and cooks. These people can not cook, they might be Indian, but they can't cook worth a damn. Every time the garlic nan is burnt, you don't see it as they have the unburn side up. The food tastes awful, and this time I got rotten potatoes. I used to work out at Parramatta, and the Indian food was divine. I will never go back there again if I have a craving for Indian, which I doubt will be any time soon. I will order delivery from further afield. The food is dry and tasteless.

Worst Indian takeaway ever. Definitely not worth it. I had chicken tikka masala and potatoes curry with rice. Feels like I'm having rice with water no taste at all. I feel very sad about wasting for wasting my money.

Ordered take-away for 3, 62 bucks, clearly not worth it, I'm sure that there are better curry options in the area.

I love this place. A regular standby when cooking is all too much. Good reliable food, not costly, served quickly and taken away. Good variety on offer seems to change regularly around the staples of Butter Chicken, Lamb Kofta and Rogan Josh, usually a spicier beef dish, plus a few vegetarian options. Naan is always fresh and tasty. Service also pleasant and helpful.

Ordered food from their store in Pacific Square. Found a piece of plastic in my butter chicken and almost choked. It's a safety hazard to even visit this place. Absolutely appalling and watery taste anyway, even the rice was overcooked. You are lucky to even get one star.
