Was a great feed before it burnt down! If it reopens I'll be back. Loved the Sate Chicken with Hokkien Noodles and rate it 10 out of 10 on the Yummy List. Note for some unknown reason I have to enter a date I travelled!! Date I travelled to a restaurant? Ah well!!!
I've been coming to Noodle Boy for years now because of the great food and friendly service at very reasonable prices. Predominately a take away restaurant, though there are limited tables available to eat in. The Hokkien Chilli Combination is my all time favourite. Highly recommended, more so for take away service.
Have been going there for for a while now and can't fault it the food is always fresh and tasty and you certainly get what you pay for when you order the crisp skin chicken you get a whole chicken I don't know too many chinese restaurants that do that , The scramble egg and prawns is also another faverite the service is always quick and friendly and at the end you get a fortune cookie so I have no trouble in recommending this place try it you won't be disappointed.
I have been a customer of Noodle Boy for many years and wanted to acknowledge this local gem. The owners Eddie and Peggy always greet with a smile; the restaurant is clean and efficient, with an open kitchen showing the machinations. Food servings are large, all very tasty and well priced. Local favourite of mine is the combination Laksa a huge bowl of very spicy broth, with egg noodles, prawns, squid, chicken and bean curd. You will be full if you manage to eat it all. Other winning dishes include XO seafood shanghai noodles, combination hokkien noodles (ask for fresh chilli to be added! , dry fried rice noodles with beef. Rice dishes go for the chili chicken and rice or the chilli squid again big servings. Recommended for a quick lunch or a easy weekend meal with family and friends.
