All the employees was very happy and appeared they enjoyed their jobs!! The buffet was stocked continuously and the bars were clean and wiped down frequently. Will def be back soon!!
My memories of Bonanza are largely from the eighties and nineties when you got a mediocre steak and the salad bar had widely differing offerings and levels of quality from location to location with maybe two hot food options on the salad bar if you were lucky. This rare example of a still-operating Bonanza is nothing like those memories. The salad bar is a full-on buffet of American comfort foods. Hot dogs, pizza, spaghetti, meat loaf, fried chicken, tacos, soups, salad, and more. Not nearly as elaborate as what Golden Corral has become, but you can satisfy yourself here without ordering a steak. It's really the only American buffet in town anymore since we lost our Ryan's, Old Country, and Royal Fork, and we never had a big modern Golden Corral at all, just older locations designed to compete with...well...the old Bonanza. When it comes to all-you-can-eat around here, it's either this or one of the Chinese buffets. I did order a steak, a 10 oz ribeye, and the buffet (discounted with steak orders). The ribeye came with a baked potato and garlic toast. Total with tax, drink, and tip was right about what I pay for a 10 oz ribeye at Texas Roadhouse and, surprisingly, was every bit as good. The baked potato was also about as perfect as any baked potato I've ever had. Even the garlic toast was top notch. Everything I tried on the buffet was good without being standout. No complaints there. No complaints about the staff either. The cashier, who also appeared to be the manager, was super nice and conversational. The server checked in frequently and offered drink refills. One has to wonder where Bonanza would be today if every location had been run like this one all along. So long as this one sticks around, I just might become a regular.
Excellent service and food. Our waitress Ginger was fantastic. BONANZA went above and beyond to insure 6 ft of distance, they supply face masks, plastic gloves, and hand sanitizer, Cannot express enough how much we enjoyed having dinner there, food was wonderful, and all the effort and time they are putting into making sure there customers can come enjoy a meal and feel relaxed knowing they are taking every precaution. Definitely was noticed and appreciated immensely! Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you BONANZA:
Our family went out for a last get together here. This was our go to for mothers day and easter every year when i was growing up. It sucks that they are closing. It makes me so sad to know their closing. We had a great time but it was bittersweet. Our server was great and stayed on top of drink refils and making sure we will satisfied. Its tragic to see such a great place go and fade into my memories, but i will never forget this place and how they never let us down. Thank you for all the amazing years with amazing service. You guys will be dearly missed.
The service was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a little bit of a wait but they handled the rush very well and got my large group seated and drinks served fairly quick. The buffet was fabulous with a wide variety of foods to choose from. The prices were reasonable as well. It's a great place for a small family dinner up to a hungry football team after a hard practice or even a business dinner for the executives. Absolutely loved it!
