Contribuisci feedbackI am a very critical review, as ive many places travelled, eat in many 5* restaurants and understand quality and level. Azar brilliant attitudes and vibe, good eating better than many others in the opposite, a romantic place when they go as couple, a must when visiting marrakech eat, excellent courtesy coworkers. we were supervised by khadija, she was incredible. she knew the menu and what we should try. she left it in the hands and she really impressed herself with everything she recommended by starters, mains, deserts, drinks. everything was 5*. a little dark inside but is good with the thema. the eating is traditionally so taste will also be very traditional, can not expect it to be spicy or bursting in taste, since this eating is usually a blandish salty taste, as the near east are used to eat. underway was that they did not reis the only option they have is couscous or chips. I personally don't like couscous, but I tried this opportunity, was decent and edible. portions are big, price is what they would expect in a 5* dining room of this class, but not too expensive. when used to eat in high-end places, they find it very favorable at the lower end. they also have live bauchtanz it is still a family-friendly environment. thanks team at azar for the hostess.
We found it as one of the best restaurant in Morocco in ratings. Indeed it was very good. We had a variety of mezes (starters) just to try the tastes and so far whatever we tried was at least good. The chicken with almond was one of my favourite plates as also were the sausages and the chicken livers. The tastes were traditional and interesting. We also tried some hookahs. I was not impressed by their taste but they were the most smooth hookah i have ever tried. Service was quite good and people were friendly and helpful. In general i would suggest it as one of the best places to eat in Marrakech, just be ready for an expensive tasting experience as the main plates start from around 18 euro the cheapest!
This restaurant can be displayed as an excellency standard. Prompt but non evasive service, interesting program, live music. Very good food, every dish ordered arrived on time. So far our only restaurant in Morocco where the waiter was wearing a face mask. Just keep in mind that this is not a cheap place and be prepared to tip the dancers. Every dirham spent here is worth it.
I don’t usually write reviews unless something is worth writing about but Azar was just WOW! From the ambiance to the amazing (but like amazing) food. But what needs to be noted is the most humble, kind and anticipated service. They were spot on and being in Marrakech for a week now it’s the first and only place that has impressed us…and that is why we are going back tonight on our family’s last evening here. Well done!
Food was decent but the environment was spectacular! They seem to cater to a Western crowd. The decor was gorgeous, hospitality was great, and the dancers were great. We definitely feel like we got a Moroccan experience!
