It’s the same vibrant, low-waste food philosophy, although the Marrickville menu includes meat too. Still plenty of vegetarian options though! I had the poached egg roll which came with a seasonal selection of winter greens (charred broccoli and crispy kale), plus aioli and a delicious beetroot pickle. What a joy.
Quite a lovely local corner of Marrickville, and right next to the station. Highly recommend you to choose a different time to visit other than Sunday morning since it is so popular that you will have to wait a bit to get seated.
Been here a few times, good simple dishes. They make their own pickles and chutneys. It’s a small place do there’s usually a bit of a wait. I always enjoy the ploughman plate and it always inspires me to go home and make my own!
I’m a massive fan of Cornersmith and all that they do and stand for. I love closer to their Annandale cafe, but when near their Marrickville cafe I definitely try to time it around a meal or coffee at the very least. Great seasonal menus driven by produce and supporters of local producers and waste minimisation.
Great place in the Inner West with fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients that are made with love great skill turning then into unique and delicious meals. The Ploughmans Plate was very impressive! Coffee is excellent aswell!
