We love this place and often come, but this night was terrible. No one was up to us for 20 minutes. Several orders were messed with my friend when the rest of us were almost done. It seemed like the waitress did something different when we rarely saw her and waited for a while for our bottle of wine and drinks.
Very average buffet food for Mother’s Day. Nothing special. We had higher expectations for the $39 per person. Omelet station was limited with choices as I found it odd not to have the ingredients to make a true Western Omelet or mushroom omelet—two very popular options. Mimosas were overpriced at $6 each. This brunch doesn’t compare to the Grand Concourse as it’s not in the same league.
Would have liked to have seen a more sophisticated menu for a $40 Mother’s Day brunch. However, the food was very good.
Food quality has taken a nose dive since it first opened. We had a wood fired maragarota pizza for $14 that was pathetically garnished with one bite of tomato ,cheese and I little sliver of basil. Once you took one bite, the rest was crust (and I think premade at that). The crab cakes were 90% filler for $12. We will not be back
