Govinda - Marseille

We went there in October 2017 and it was a disaster. The location is very convenient and they offer a lunch menu but everything went wrong in the restaurant. They had no rice and meals were served with indian breads only. The service was slow and unprofessional and at the end they wanted to charge us €5 for each drink that was included on the menu price if you had no desert.

The food was not fresh and semi-cooked. We chose this restaurant because it is located very close to the old port. There are many other restaurants in it's vicinity,so you will have many other altenates. After a day long walking in Marseille, we wanted to eat the Indian cuisine, but later we repented our choice of this restaurant.

Totally understaffed ... 5 waiters and 3 guests and nobody knows what to do. No communication! No coordination! And what the hell is the Asian guy doing? Walking around and staring at people! The food was oooook but not the freshest Indian dishes in Marseille!

Very unclean place. Even the waiters looked and were dressed shabbily. I think the French food safety department needs to URGENTLY inspect this place. I had a peep into the kitchen while going to the washroom before leaving and I got a shock!! Very dirty

Wow this place is amazing! The people were so kind in helping us find our way around. The food was fantastic! We ended up eating dinner there all week end and drinking XD Thank you again see you next summer !!!
