Both were excellent. The friendly staff was on point and threw in a couple of...lovely digestifs. The location is walkable to many Vieux Port hotels. We highly recommend Le Bouchon Provencal.
Eating was excellent, and while not completely the seafood menu that you would expect in marseille, there was a lot of it on the menu, as well as many other possibilities. the location was great as it was just from the water, and at a great place to see. such a beautiful city past. and their home wines were also excellent (think they grew up on a hot summer day). also the service was very good. very enjoyed our meal.
On a beautiful terrace filled road right at the harbour of marseille boardwalk. the service was warm and welcoming. cote de provence red was cheap but too warm. the appetizers were delicious. the burrata was a work of art visually and for the taste. the salmon gravlax was fresh from the boat and well prepared. the netzen were a little less impressive. the raviolis were decent, but the filled paprika and tomaten lacked a little bit per ne sais quoi. the veal milanese was overcooked with a terrible presentation.
It was an excellent meal. Everything was perfect, the wine was great, the entrées very tasty, the plat principal just like that and the dessert ... We would have ordered them again. A very successful evening and our congratulations to the kitchen staff and everyone...there.
Excellent lunch with a half bottle of delicious Valdition white wine. Oysters for starters were really fresh, and our tuna tartare and sole meunière were delicious. Very friendly service from I assume a husband and wife couple. Definitely recommend this place.
