We discovered this restaurant by chance. And what a nice discovery. It was a convivial and fun experience. Not to mention the delicious taste. The game consists of cooking in a different Asian broth. Pasta, vegetables and fish. To our choice. Come on, you won't regret it. I don't forget the friendly and warm welcome of the waitress and the chef. Thank you.
We were very happy with our first coming. We tried to go there three times: A Saturday night without reservation, ok not possible, a Thursday evening around 7:30, ok not possible without reservation there again. A Friday lunch service? we are asked if we want information on the outside, ben no we just want to eat, the room is empty. Well, no, because the tourniquet is broken! A priori no one can eat in the room and only the delivery of ramen is available if we interpret what we are told. We're not coming back.
Original concept to be discovered. Warm and friendly welcome. Measuring in a selected broth. We loved it!
To eat a nabe or nabemono 鍋 (Japanese fondue, pronounce “nabé” , have to go to Kyoto? No, it’s in Marseille, city-world, that’s happening! Just push the door of Nabe, close to the Old Port on the Estiennes d’Orves Course. A gastro, both by the freshness of the dishes and foods and by the reception of the boss and chef, Jean-François Sengkouvank (Jeff for the intimates, namely, YOU, its customers! , passing through the sleek decor, the Japanese dishes, the conveyor coming straight from Asia (look at its coating..., magical! , the vintage lamps of the time, up to the fresco of the Italian artist hired Cibo, who represents a cherry of Japan whose flowers become food. I'm sorry, Jeff... the prize! At 25€ the nabe at will, you're crazy. It costs a lot of yen in Kyoto!!!! In addition, it’s nice, you choose its broth, you pick what you want, you cook for 3 minutes, and you eat, then you try again... . And when we're done, we get the broth and drink it, like any amateur. So we're going to have to (come back to Marseille to taste these melted exquisite. And for those who prefer something else, there is a selection of luxury Dim Sum, made with high quality raw materials: lobster, Angus beef, truffles... . But also the famous Wagyu beef! And finally, the famous Mochi iced, that Jeff was the first to introduce to Marseille. To water it all, a fine selection of sakés, rare Japanese beers, or good teas. Anyway, Marseille says thank you, Jeff, for your idea, your welcome, your smile, your desire... and our pleasure!
