Cafe Italia - Marshall

The dining experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The waitress did her best, but the service fell short when dealing with a large party. The chef and owner were rude and tried to pad the bill. They made snide comments and confused our orders, leading to multiple attempts to clarify and confirm what we had ordered. Despite tipping the waitress, the overall atmosphere was tense and uncomfortable. The restaurant's ability to accommodate a large group was initially why we chose it, but the poor service and attitude of the staff made it a regrettable decision. I will not be returning to this restaurant and will instead recommend Pietro's Pizzeria in Marshall for a more pleasant dining experience. It seems that many others may not be aware of the issues at this establishment, but I will not be recommending it to my friends and family. If you don't mind rude service and mediocre food, then this may be the place for you. As someone who values honesty in reviews and good food, this restaurant does not meet my standards.

The staff were very friendly and amazing! They made me a last minute pizza right before closing time after a long day. I highly recommend this place.

We had a disappointing experience at a small Italian restaurant in town. The staff was unfriendly, possibly due to being short-staffed. The overall atmosphere, service, and food were mediocre. The sauce tasted like it came from a jar and the pasta was overcooked. Refills were scarce and overall it was not a place we would recommend. It was a swing and a miss for us.

I was visiting from Tallahassee, FL, and this restaurant was in walking distance of the hotel. I highly recommended this restaurant. The food was very good; I enjoyed my entree!

A little hard to find with road construction limited signage BUT... WELL WORTH IT !Authentic, great tasting.
