They sell individual vegan ice pops, many snacks of the refrigerator is always in stock with cold drinks. They carry a wide range of locally produced products such as herbal remedies, bread, tempeh locally grown fruit vegetables. They have always made Rosetta's frozen peanut butter Tofu, in Asheville, and it's soooo good. It is not a vegan shop, but they have many vegan products. They now have a small kitchen where they have vegan tempeh wrap sandwiches (real good! and a few to go salads. Inside there is a community list and a Little Free Library. There is a good selection of natural foods here and many of them are local that we liked. All we enjoyed, but the things we found there were quite expensive. There were two people working, we were the only customers, but none of them said hello to us when we came in, made every conversation with us when we saw or checked out, or said farewell when we went. The lack of hospitality was a little embarrassing for how tiny it was from a business.
Small city business, but uptown choices and variety. Very clean business, beautiful fresh local products and many bulk goods (some not found in much larger shops). Family owned / with owners on premises friendly people willing to serve you. Will definitely visit again when you travel in this area!
The restaurant offers a great selection of natural foods, many of which are sourced locally, which we appreciated. We enjoyed everything we ordered, but we did find the prices to be quite high. There were two staff members present, and since we were the only customers, it was surprising that neither of them greeted us when we entered, engaged in any conversation while we browsed, or said goodbye when we left. The lack of hospitality felt somewhat uncomfortable, especially given the small size of the store.
This small-town store offers an impressive selection of upscale products and variety. It’s very clean, features beautiful fresh local produce, and carries many bulk items that you won't find in larger stores. It's family-owned and operated, with the friendly owner present to serve you. I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area!
