Boston Pizza Martensville

Ordered a take out Mediterranean pizza from here and it is by far the best I have had in awhile. We eat here a few times a year and while the food is inconsistent at times we have always received amazing service.

Had a group size of 17-20 persons, slow service. Meals where slow to come out, some patrons did not receive there orders in the 1 hour 15 minutes we had for lunch, leaving without there order. Patrons that did not receive there orders where not even given the option of having it packaged to go. One of the patrons has an extreme allergy to celery made it very clear, that she could not have celery touch her food, or be cross contaminated. Her menu option had no celery in it, but guess what was placed on her plate as a garnish, yep it was celery!

There are limited options for a quick sit down meal restaurant in Martensville so we often get cornered into a BP situation. The last three visit have been identical long waits, inattentive and borderline rude waitstaff, bland freezer meals and wilted sad salads. We always leave vowing not to come back, hopefully we can stick to it this time. We are not hard to please folks and always give second, third chances everyone can have bad day. After one particularly abysmal experience we asked to speak to the manager they said sorry she is busy? So we completed the survey on the receipt to offer feedback as a business owner I'd want to know. The management never did contact us, even though we selected that option. We have been hearing similar reviews from our friends and family in the area who are now avoiding this restaurant as well. It is too bad, as like I indicated, MV doesn't have a lot of options.

We were there for a hockey weekend. Adults had to sit in the lounge for dinner and kids in the restaurant (14 year old girls) as the restaurant could not accommodate all of us. Lounge service very good friendly and efficient. However, the blond, 50 something woman who served our girls in the restaurant was nasty and rude to our girls. (For reference, It was Saturday, February 8). She refused to refill their pop which is meant to be free refills. She refused to split bills. We were to get 15% off because we stayed at the hotel next door, but she failed to take the deduction off our bill. When the adults paid, she was snarky and rude to us to. No need for that kind of service. They are well behaved, polite girls. They deserved better.

Our family loves it here, when it first opened the service here was not very good, but they have definitely improved and they seem to run quite smoothly, food always tastes so good, our kids love the kids meals, and now they have bigger kids meal options, that’s great for teenagers, they have the best pizza and lasagna around!
