Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and irritated when the restaurant wasn't even half full and was shared by another waitress who seemed delightful. Ours ignored us for the first 15 minutes and then was put off that we wanted an appetizer first instead of ordering our food and drinks all at once. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but then we watched her yell at the bartender in the middle of the dining area and then another one of her tables walked out after waiting 20min without even seeing her. We thoroughly enjoyed the food but seeing as this is the second time we've had poor service, we most likely won't be back unless we just order to go... hopeful to here in the future they turn it around. My mother took lunch on Thursday. She had fish and chips and I had a chicken sandwich. She had fries regularly and I had the truffles. Everything was excellent! The fried green tomato addition to the chicken sandwich was brilliant. Fish was perfectly fried, crisp on the outside and flocky on the inside.
I love this place. I wish it was closer. The truffleries are wonderful! Beautiful list of Bourbon and decent wine
