Guided by efficient/obligatory bistro bells within an acceptable time frame in view of the diverse selection of dishes the quality, quantity/price, bought smiles of satisfaction from demanding diners... it assembled. Pork, lamb steak of juicy taste were eagerly swallowed return journeys along with positive referrals are guaranteed. Chef Rob, can be proud of his team of culinary talents.
I have been to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed the food. However, my most recent visit was disappointing. I ordered the old-fashioned lamb shoulder, but the meat was fatty and tough. The vegetables were good, but there was a strange green and cold element that did not enhance the dish. I mentioned this to the waitress when she cleared our plates, but the issue was not addressed. For dessert, I had the sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce, but it was not warm and the sauce tasted burnt. Overall, it was not a good experience and there was no acknowledgment of the issue at the end of the meal.
"This restaurant offers honest and delicious food at a great value. The lamb cuts were tender and flavorful, the steak was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the chicken carving was moist and flavorful. The portions were generous and the atmosphere was friendly, like a cozy country pub."
We found the appointment after we were looking for dinner on the highway. It was a big little find and so much better than stop at the fast food chains. Big pub food We will definitely come back.
It's well worth getting off the Hume Freeway to take in the town of Marulan, and this gem is right in the middle on the main street. The Terminus Hotel dates back to the 1860s and is decked out appropriately for the period style feel....We'd not dined here before and figured it would have classic pub grub, which it does, but it was so much better than that. The simple burger with the lot was cooked to perfection, with a real barbecue taste to the pattie and onions. The chips were in just the right quantity and also cooked perfectly. The service was very friendly and social distancing does well. We've just found a new favourite for the Sydney road trips!
