Ripples On The Res - Maryborough

Ripples offers some of the best food in the Maryborough area. Although I haven't visited in a while, every time I've been there in the last couple of years, the experience has been fantastic. I've only dined there for breakfast, so I can't speak to the lunch and dinner offerings, but overall, it's an excellent place to eat.

This restaurant has a fantastic location, especially after a long drive or walk at the reservoir. The cleanliness is impressive, scoring a 9 out of 10; however, it didn't receive a perfect score because the restroom was a bit worn. The service was decent—the staff were polite—but we had to wait nearly 45 minutes just for four scones! If you're looking for a quick meal, you might be better off going to KFC or McDonald's instead.

The service was quite slow. When we asked about the delay, they mentioned that they were busy. It took 90 minutes for our food to arrive.

The food was nice but didn't stand out in any particular way. The main issue was the 90-minute wait for our meals, especially challenging with three children. We chose to stay because we had promised our boys, who have autism, that we would eat here. Unfortunately, this is now another place we can't return to. We also ordered drinks twice within half an hour, only to discover they were sitting on the bar, and the staff seemed to overlook us.
