Bongo Bongo Divers - Masaplod Norte

Laid back, friendly staff, awesome dive guides who can find the tiniest marine life. Location is not beach front but close enough. They have their own house reef. The facility had newer equipment and everything was laid out with the diver in mind. They have a bar, but no food. They do have the menus for restaurants which deliver in the area. Rooms come in different choices, minimalist designs, no TV, but you should not be hanging out in there at a dive resort anyway. Diving was great. Safety was a priority.

I stayed at Bongo Bongo with my sister for our PADI Open Water Course, and we felt perfectly safe and secure from the first second we started the course and got perfect instructions and help with all our little problems during the course special thanks to Luna and Will who did an amazing job at that. But also the rest of the team was really nice and helpful during our stay or the diving excursion we also booked with them. The room we stayed in was basic, but was enough for our needs, as we were diving or outside the room all the day.

We had an incredible experience during our stay at Bongo Bongo, with Luna as our PADI instructor for the open water course. Her kindness and enthusiasm made it an unforgettable adventure. Luna helped us feel safe and confident throughout our PADI open water course and created a very fun environment for all of us! Would highly recommend staying here and participating in their diving courses!

Summary: Definitely go to Bongo Bongo Divers. The school, the reef, the instructors, the community: 5 out of 5 stars! I had the pleasure to do the Open Water training with an absolutely outstanding instructor: Luna. I cannot speak highly enough of her expertise. Her passion for diving was contagious, and her ability to teach was truly remarkable. In the beginning, I was filled with a mix of excitement and fear, unsure if diving was something I could truly conquer. However, this incredible teacher effortlessly guided me through the initial open dive, patiently addressing all my concerns. This experience made me pursue the advanced level (I would have never thought to do so before) Thanks to her and the school I discovered a newfound love for diving. Without a doubt, I will be returning to continue my diving education. If you're looking for a brilliant diving teacher and a great school, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend.

Bongos is a highly professional and well resourced dive centre in the best of locations. Luna was great teacher, knowledgeable and patient. Fantastic place to learn some skills.
