Mascoutah Steak House

The first time here has been eating since the old location. I feel bad because I'm not coming earlier. General portions a 2” pig steak? Holy wow! Appropriate prices. Attentive servers. You can't go wrong!

I celebrated my birthday with the family here last night. I cannot speak very enough about our server, its attention and accuracy of our orders. Eating was amazing, and our server was as amazing. It was so good to see a young person working hard for her money. I didn't catch his name, but this young man will take place with his work ethics and attitude. Will definitely be back.

The food was good and was nice out on the porch. I think the sirloin was a little better than the ribeye but it was all good. Really good baked potatoes. My wife loved the spinach bisque. Server was nice but everything came out very slow. We were there for well over two hours, and many times were waiting for drinks or items to make it out. Overall it's good, just have to be patient.

Very friendly atmosphere. Schnitzel was tender, but the sauce was missing something. Not sure, but it was still good. I would recommend it.

I love this place because it's just a few blocks away. Another great meal tonight. I tried fried chicken, and I have to say that it was some of the best I had in quite awhile. The food was wonderful. Overall, we were never disappointed. Lexi our lovely waitress was great and definitely brings her a game to work. Good job every night. We'll see you soon.
