The Submarine Sandwich Shop

I recently visited Awe's sandwich shop, a charming family-owned eatery that has been serving delicious sandwiches since the 1960s. The kind lady behind the counter prepared a beef delight loose meat sandwich for me, complete with all the fixings. I couldn't resist the temptation of their mouthwatering milkshakes, which I plan on trying during my next visit. If you're craving a satisfying sandwich or a delectable malt, I highly recommend stopping by Awe's sandwich shop.

I tried a chocolate malt and it was delicious. I enjoyed the fact that the restaurant has a classic American feel. This is one of the best American restaurants I have ever eaten at.

This restaurant in Mason City is one of my top picks for lunch. The staff is always kind and friendly, and the food is consistently delicious. Even my fiancé, who travels often for work and eats out frequently, loves their food. Whenever he comes home craving homemade food, all I have to do is suggest we go have the cheese delight and he's all in, but he also always insists on getting a pizza burger. Thank you to the ladies at the restaurant, we will definitely be returning soon.

Our family LOVES Awe's! Every visit, my children look forward to the wild and fun shenanigans they will have with Lois. There's not many places in Mason City where you can get a loose meat sandwich and great memories like you receive at Awe's. A very cherished place in our hearts and our tummies!!

Wonderful family owed restaurant. The root bear is fantastic, food fresh and hot. Hand made shakes and malts, YUM! You need to check them out!!
