Gladstone Public Reserve - Masterton

The restaurant has a lovely overnight stay, but it can be a bit noisy due to the nearby bridge traffic. There are two spacious, clean eco-friendly long-drop toilets available. They use sawdust, which keeps them odor-free and pleasant to use.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the free campervan park by the river. The environmentally friendly toilets are well maintained and clean. Plus, it's just a short walk over the bridge to Gladstone Pub, where you can enjoy delicious meals. Highly recommend!

This restaurant offers a lovely, quiet atmosphere, and they recently added pop-up restrooms and garbage bins just before Christmas last year, which is a great improvement. It’s an ideal spot for a family day out. You can bring a gas BBQ, set up a makeshift football net, kick around a ball, and enjoy a short walk in the area.

Perfect place for yourself included 'vechiles and for a picnic. No toilets or garbage containers on site. Gladstone River behind Reserve, over the bridge is Gladstone Gasthof, walking distance if you are camping for the night
