Prisco's Gourmet - Mastic

I am so disappointed, I have been going to this deli for at least 10 years, they used to be so amazing and I hadn't been there in a while, I figured I'd go get a good old bacon egg and cheese. I got there, and I had also ordered a brownie. Came home to eat and realized that the BEC sandwhich had no cheese on it and had a bite of the brownie and spit it right out. I am so sad, this place has seriously gone down hill, what happened ?!??

Aside from being overpriced, DON'T order corned beef hash from here. It is NOT CBH! This owners idea of CBH is taking his home fries, throwing in less than a THIN DELI SLICE of corned beef, cut into thin, TINY strips and putting it in a container. There is ZERO flavor or ACTUAL CORNED BEEF. I thought I got home fries with a few pieces of ham. When I called him, he was arrogant and could care less that his food sucks!! Never again! Additionally, I was told that the monte crust was a platter. It's a sandwich which was quite literally thrown together with half the meat out in the container. The home fries had nasty orange cheese in them (never asked for cheese, and it was all clumped up because it's clearly fake cheese. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Love getting breakfast from here! great selection, owner is friendly. make your coffee which I like! My daughter enjoys their pink lemonade. loaded home fries are so yummy! although I tend to go for breakfast they are always making up hero's/panini platters that look so delicious. Thinking about getting my next deli catering order from here. They look so yummy! Definitely recommend to check it out.

I used them for my daughters party this past Sunday. My wife did the order of a hero and a olive tray. Picked it up Sunday was supposed to be ready by 1230 I got there maybe 1245. They told me would be ready in 5 minutes. They gave me two trays of hero and a bag and said that's everything I said ok. My wife calls them they give her a attitude tell her that Steve will call her back. I call they tell me he won't be in today. I got a phone call this morning and call back guy is out again. I feel like it's playing phone tag to get my money back from this place. I'm a volunteer for mastic and I'm sure we use this place for our meetings. I think I'm gonna tell them to find a new place seeing how this place operates. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Go elsewhere for your hero's and sandwiches. The owner will not try to make things right and will play phone tag with you. Something so simple should just be fixed.

For years now my coworkers and I have been going here for breakfast and lunch, we do our best to save lives in this town, but the people of Priscos save our stomachs, if you're looking for good quality food at a reasonable price, look no further, always friendly staff. And fast turn around. Especially I when we're running around town all day. Always will recommend this deli to anyone!
