It was really good and a significant portion I took half of it home. Sadly I wasn’t able to make it back to try the lamb shank but it looked and sounded amazing judging by the other table. Great little hidden gem in Surfdale!
What a warm and welcoming place to eat. We had the most fabulous meal with a big group of our local friends on Friday. The service was wonderful and Moby our waiter was brilliant. We loved the curries, pizzas and some people had scrumptious desserts like the flourless chocolate cake. The pesto and cheese bread was amazingly delicious! We had a bottle of red which was like velvet in a glass. They cater really well for all sorts of dietary requirements. Give the Middle a go. You won't be disappointed for sure.
We chose The Middle because we heard the pizzas were awesome, but once here my husband was swayed by the Malaysian Beef Curry which by far has to be the tastiest curry I have had in the Auckland area! I had the Trigg Pizza which was really tasty and light and a good kids menu Too. Great wine list. Definitely recommend, funky setting with very friendly staff.
This is our local pizza and Indian curry place and we heartily recommend it. You can construct your own thin-crust pizza from a long list of tasty fresh ingredients. Having the option of a range of curries, including vegetarian and goat meat, is a bonus if you are not into pizza. The service is amazing, the soundtrack excellent, and the prices very reasonable, considering this is Waiheke. It is popular with locals and visitors alike. Great for larger parties too. In Summer you can sit outside in the subtropical garden enjoying the local bird song. And you can always do takeaways, including your leftovers.
Absolutely brilliant friendly fast service with the most delicious food! Get the nachos while you wait for main. YUM!!!!
