Very peaceful and beautiful views.I can't say enough good things about the food here. Delicious meals and more than enough to eat and drink. They are in the process of adding an infinity pool, I hope to come back when it's complete. No Air Conditioning makes it a bit hot for me, but they provided a large powerful fan.
The view of the sun setting and the tides rippling from your room was an idyllic experience. We stayed at a house hosted by Yollie and Mike. Yollie took care of cooking our meals; all of the fishes were fresh from the sea. The island hopping was the highlight of our stay. We went to a fish sanctuary, an isolated and breathtaking beach, and an antique lighthouse in the middle of the sea. P.S. They don't have a menu so you have to keep a mental tab because you will tend to lose track of your expenses.
We didn't stay with them because we had already rented a house, but came here for every meal. His wife is an amazing chef and all our meals were so out of this world, and Mike kills it with the margarita game. If you are coming to Subic Beach, I highly recommend staying here.
Nice place close to the sea, with wonderful sunsets, and Wolly is a good cook. If you accept very basic amenities :Small room with no running water, no heater, no fridge, no aircon, no TV. It's so hot that I couldn't sleep before 2am, and the noisy boats start at 5am. Shower and toilet with a bucket. At the end we had to pay more than 10 000 pesos additional to the price of the room, for meals for 2 persons (3 nights) and boat for one and half day. At the end it's more expensive than a resort, so better to compare and negociate if you plan to come here.
Great cooking by host Yollie! Masiramun! The rooms have great vantage point, facing the sea and as the name suggests, sunset. Loved the place. Magayon! And even though her husband,Mike, was still a bit sick, he took the extra effort of setting up our table dinner by the seaside.
