Petisqueira Do Godinho - Matosinhos

Very kind host. We had a poulpe salad and patanisca offered. We had fish (dourade and sardinha even if for sardinha it was not the season) which were excellent. As desert we had pudding which was great.

Took a side street off the main drag in Matosinhos to find this very traditional Portuguese restaurant specialising in fish. We chose seafood rice with monkfish and prawns and could have fed four with the portion served. The chef/waiter was very pleasant, although he spoke little English, and we really enjoyed our lunch. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Excellent fish and seafood dishes, all prepared in a traditional way. Adding the decoration, a bit aging, but very Portuguese again, You feel at home. Good is not perfect, like home food, but overall it’s happiness to spend some time there. Service and price level are excellent

Restaurante donde come comida típica portuguesa. Muy recomendable tanto por lo bien que come, apreciación, amabilidad.
