Contribuisci feedbackAfter visiting Naples and trying the best pizza, I had to see if Antonio Mezzero (an italian pizzaiolo who moved to Porto) the worlds first prize was similar… its even better. Best dough, best fresh filling, lots of love and lots of art! We met him and he found the time to explain the processe. We have to come back
Outstanding service and friendly staff. Came group of 20 persones without booking and they had no trouble serving the group pizzas and drinks. Very quikly, helpfull and nice staff. Really recomend this place.
35euros ! for a pizza that is boring, full with grease and salt, soaked in butter and not good at all. No ATM or cards accepted, they must put the notice at the Door! Not hiden in the corner, so that the costumers can't leave. Disgusting atitude. I don't recommend.
We Loved this restaurant and have been local clients for years. For us it was the best pizza around. Every time we had friends or family visit we would take them to eat here. Unfortunately since changing the menu and ingredients the quality has lost its edge. The pizzas are very soggy, nauseatingly so, and the ingredients not as unique as before. The portions for the entrees are getting smaller and overall the prices are expensive. Moreover the staff don’t seem to care about the feedback or questions regarding the portions and quality/ingredient changes. They have an excuse and reason for all that they are in the right. For a previous world food champion (for the Margarita pizza) to have this attitude is rather disappointing and would appear to be a case of ego surpassing client satisfaction. After our experience today, we are sad to say that we will not again eat at Antonio Mezzero’s for a very long time, if ever, and cannot recommend it.
I went to pizza school in Napoli and wasn’t blown away but for the history. Passion, product, depth of knowledge, fresh San marzano tomatoes cured in-house for an uplifting of the whole eating experience. Eat Neapolitan Pizzas all over the World. Really no one better. Lucky to have Antonio for our Pizza lust.
