Yuyu Onsen (public Bath) - Matsue

Great onsen, cheap and cozy. It is not like one of these superons building, it is small but beautiful, most people are Japanese, because the area is not very touristic for foreigners, but so it is rural Japan

Weird building but wonderful onsen. Indoor and outdoor baths plus sauna and steam room. The outdoor bath has massaging waterfalls that feel great on stiff shoulders and back. My favorite onsen in Tamayu.

A very lovely bath and a great deal (only ¥500 . The indoor and outdoor section were both absolutely gorgeously and uniquely designed architecturally and there was a steam room outside and a sauna inside. The only thing I had a problem with was I saw a floating beetle(? carcass in the outdoor bath but I guess bathing outdoors comes with that kind of issue naturally. I came around noon so I was able to enjoy a nice sunny bath.

Bad was a nice break from riding. Many locals, all friendly.

Great place to relax. Both indoor and outdoor baths. Very modern and clean.
