The Public Cafe - Matumbo

What I Like: Nice and friendly staff. Convenient location, just right next to the highway so you don't have to walk long stretches of unpaved road. I ordered their ham and cheese sandwich, which was surprisingly good. Friendly staff. Very rare for cafes here in Cebu. What Could Be Improved: Dining tables. If you want to do some work while eating or having coffee, their tables are not ideal. Could do with more space and a wider table. Ambiance. Went there to have lunch and hold a meeting with my boss. She said she could barely hear me. Other diners are too loud while others play videos on their phone that are way too loud. No regard for other people whatsoever. Staff also contributed to noise. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I'll be back to try their pasta.

The pasta is overall really great! And I really love the overall vibes of the cafe and my personal favorite is there garlic bread huhu. There foods are always made fresh hot and yummy. I have been there for three times or I think four and it's great, if you're looking for a cheap and nice and silent place to be in then this is for you. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch
