Delicious meal with very good ingredients. We chose it because it looked simple and unfussy and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and wine that was delivered. I had the moule, and they were some of the tastiest mussles I have ever eaten, simply cooked to perfection. My other-half had the salad oceane and it was a beautifully balanced salad with loads of flavour.
We had spent a week in the mountains with tartiflett and raclett being the main offer and yearned for some vegetables and fresh meat/fish. I had grilled sea bass and my partner had confit of duck. They were perfectly cooked with wonderful flavours and great tasting vegetable sides. The staff were very welcoming and we had a lovely time in the warm spring sea air. The glass of wine added to our pleasure and an espresso prepared us for the lovely walk on the beach to follow.
Went along Avenue Grassion Cibrand to find a place to eat. Carnon was very quite at the time and most of the restaurants were empty. The waiter at Fleur de Sel stopped us along the street and were very happy and friendly. Promised me to do a special vegetarian salad as there were no such thing on the menu. As the only couple at the restaurant we had great service and the waiter liked to talk a lot. Food was average but wine very good. In all, we had a very pleasant evening.
Génial moules frites! Stumbled across this low key, down to earth gem. Great with kids they got them fed and entertained straightaway so the adults could get stuck into the food and wine. Would come back if we didn't have to cross half the planet to get here.
