I had the hot pastrami sandwich that took about 25 minutes to prepare for a moderate midday. sandwich was quite sharp and tasted ok. restaurant is tiny and maybe seating 20 when each table cabin is extended. be ready to stand and wait for a table to open when they go during lunch. Standard sandwich and chips menu. prices are average.
Fried bologna. it was a very long time since I had a fried bologna sandwich, but mauldin delis version brought me back to my childhood in hampton, va!. this place is small, the service is fast and the eating is great! I have tried several menu points, but from what I sachte bologna sandwich is one of their best sellers. his good ole country sandwich w a beautiful thick piece of bologna covered w salat, pickles and sniff between 2 houses of white wonderbrot. it is very easy but if they want to eat well and don't spend much money...stop of mauldin deli. happy eats!
Super charming Deli with an old school feeling. The owners could not be more friendly and welcoming. Fresh pears make head meat for a delicious sandwich. Menu is full of classic options. Hot soup and side dishes such as potato salad, pasta salad and coleslaw complete the perfect meal.
The best small sandwich shop around! Friendly cozy atmosphere, and a great price point. You use wild boar head meat so you know you get a great sandwich. The pages are made fresh daily and you can say it. My favourite is the Italian with one side of the sour potato salad.
I was introduced to this place more than 10 years ago by a former employee and was never disappointed. I live over 100 miles away, but if I'm near Mauldin Deli, I'm going there. The reubs are one of the best I ever had. Very nice owners too!
