So, this was tough course to rate. On the one hand, it had some very attractive holes cut through a very mature landscape, which was very nice. On the other hand, the first 7 holes were strange and felt confusing how they were laid out. Also, the course was not super tidy. Landscaping was sloppy many places. The greens rolled very nicely though. I think my expectations were higher than what I got.
We always have amazing food and service at Brandywine. The owners and management care about the quality of food and the guests’ experiences. The salmon, scallops, perch, and lamb chops never disappoint! They have fun events and pool parties that are open to the public. This is an absolute gem for our community!
Wasn't thrilled with the experience, not as nice as I thought people said ... and what ever you do ... do not book online
Played golf here yesterday, worst course I have played in Toledo in years. Weeds everywhere, even in the fairways and greens.. fairways and even greens were hard as a rock, hit a ball 10 yards short of green and it ended up off the back, a few tee boxes I could barely get a tee in bc they were so hard, some of the water hazards were copper colored with trash in them. I would say about 95% of the course was dead and brown. For a “country club” semi private, I would expect at least some of the greens to be playable, but not even able to land anything on the greens with how dead and dried out everything was. Will 100% not be going back to this course even if it was the only course available to play. Stay far away from this course unless you like cow pastures.
