Star Diner - Maumee

I used to love this place, but the food is getting progressively worse. This morning, I received the most horrible tasting breakfast. Now I never return food, but it was so bad. The waitress said it was okay and then I asked for something else. And then we waited and waited. When I finally got a hold of our waitress (also a manager), she argued that I never asked for anything. Then she proceeded to laugh about the confusion with another customer. I've been both a waitress and a manager, but this was inexcusable. We will never return.

As a Canadian visiting the US, generally portion sizes are pretty massive when comparing to Canadian restaurantsAs always, I wasn't disappointed.

Every time I travel for a Michigan football game I eat breakfast here.

My second time eating here but this time I did a take out order of French toast It was a bit busy being it a holiday (Labor Day).
