Star Diner - Maumee

The breakfast potatoes are absolutely the best! Everything on the menu is delicious!

The food was quite mediocre. The waitresses were friendly and efficient, but I couldn't help but notice that their short skirts seemed aimed at attracting more working men for bigger tips, which doesn’t really do justice to the hard-working women. Additionally, there were no gluten-free options available.

This was my go-to breakfast spot when I lived in the area, so I decided to give it another try during my visit. Unfortunately, it didn't have the same taste as I remembered.

The place was super busy and they kept up great. 2 of us ordered waffles, 2 ordered eggs and toast and 1 ordered the chorizo burrito. The burrito was good and quite big. Didn't care for the cheese sauce on top, but besides that it was good. The chorizo and refried beans went well together. The waffles were big, and the kids enjoyed them. The eggs were ordered over easy and cooked perfectly. Overall it was a good experience and would go back again!

We recently stopped here while on vacation. The food is amazing the staff is wonderful. The reason for the lower rating was that I can’t understand why the uniform for the waitresses was booty shorts and very very very short skirts. While I am not opposed to that it just seemed incredibly unnecessary for such a nice place. The place was packed with families and if i worked there I would feel weird having my butt hang out at 8am on a Saturday morning. It adds nothing to the experience. The food and service are great enough as is.
