Mt. Hood Brewing Co. Rainbow Tavern

Great food, great drinks, great people. Sounds cheesy but it's true. Been coming here for years on my visits to Maupin but they've somehow gotten even better since the last time I visited. The entire place has been upgraded without losing it's flavor. Stacy made some fantastic drinks and took great care of us. We can't wait to go back!! TLDR: If you come to Maupin and you don't go to the Rainbow then you didn't really go to Maupin

I'm a big fan of small town dive bars, and this is a good one! They've made some improvements to the interior. Much lighter and brighter than it used to be. The bacon cheeseburger and fresh homemade fries were the best I've had in a long time! I'll definitely make it a regular stop each time I pass through town.

We were coming through town pretty late and this was our one option to have a meal and boy were we pleasantly surprised! The house salads were generous and delicious, the buffalo wings were beautifully fried and super crispy and they took the innovative step of serving a delicious Red Hot butter sauce on the side so each bite was perfection! Service was excellent, the vibe among the customers was congenial and I got to overhear some great conversations and a lot of care wasput into the preparation of our food tonight. Thank you Rainbow Tavern! This establishment (which I ate at several times before under the old management after rafting and it wasn't memorable) has recently changed hands to new management.

Myself, my hubby and his best friend went for a bike ride today to Shanako, and on our way back we stopped in to eat. They liked the burgers, and I enjoyed my Cheese Curds. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Deluxe Burger
