Putting a little bit of the sea salt with the olive oil and the breads they had for off the chart. each food dish that they serve was really fantastic there's nothing specifically that stands out is just being heads and shoulder above the other but everything was great. The dessert was refreshing and everyone enjoyed the coffee.
Tourist trap, over priced, chefs don’t know what the hell they’re doing. According to this restaurant’s review (lower quality after new ownership , we would never go in, however, as it was low season in January and unfortunately this restaurant was the only one near our hotel that’s open and we see customers inside, we went in. We see that they have a TripAdvisor’s certificate of excellence for 2015. The service was friendly but extremely slow and even took a really long time to be even given the menu (took a total of 2 hours and 10 minutes to complete a 3 course meal . The entrée of foie gras was served with toast. The filet of turbot had no seasoning except for a thick coating of parmesan cheese (you should NEVER mix seafood with cheese! and mushy overcooked risotto drowned in parmesan cheese (another a big NO NO! I tried to eat just the fish and avoid the parmesan cheese and unfortunately the dish was served in a bowl and as I tried to avoid the risotto, the fish got pushed to the side of the bowl and touched the decorative glassa and that combination tasted absolutely disgusting. The fish (filet de turbot son risotto à la soupe de poissons was 27€ for this inedible plate. The chocolate cake dessert was just okay, nothing special. The pork was not good as it was too sweet and covered in sugary syrup. Even if this restaurant is the only place that is open close by, I would recommend starving until the next day.
Excellent food and service. We went there as we had our wedding meal at a place called Thyme to Eat, Aberfeldy, Scotland. Thoroughly recommend both even if they're a 1,000 miles apart
Thyme flowers are small but they are the bees's favorite. This restaurant is small and the food is superb. From start to finish this was the best meal we had during our stay in the Alpillles and indeed in our two weeks of travel in France and Cataluna. Entrées (or appetizers) were well portioned and delightful. Plats (or entrees) were well seasoned and perfectly prepared. Combinations (delicate white fish with avocado puree) complemented each other in flavor, texture, and intensity. Menus (prix fixe dinners) are an excellent value and since portions are good, you can expect to enjoy a meal complete with cheese plate and still have a little room for café. Restaurant is a little bit away from the town center but free municipal off-street parking lots are a short walk away.
We had a wonderful meal here. The food was great, thoughtfully prepared and very flavorful. The staff was very nice as well. I highly recommend it.
