AKA Jack was very nice and accommodating. The ingredients were sourced locally and the profits go towards supporting women's causes. We booked the class one day in advance and it was a simple process. I would highly recommend this place.
The food at this restaurant was excellent. We ordered the set menu for two people, which included curry, salad, and a side dish. The staff recommended that we try the duck curry, a local Mon specialty not listed on the menu, and it was absolutely delicious - one of the best curries I have ever tasted. Additionally, we tried the tea leaves salad as a regional specialty side dish, which was also fantastic. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but be sure to bring mosquito repellent as the restaurant is located in an open area.
This restaurant offers incredible Mon-style cuisine, which is rare to find in Mawlamyine, despite it being the capital of Mon State. The use of local ingredients makes the food super tasty, with fair prices and all for a good cause. This place is amazing!
We have a cooking class here with a group of four friends. It was very informative and we made several really delicious dishes. AKA Jack was very courteous and friendly. Ingredients were made by local communicative and profit support women causes. We called a day in advance to organize the class, it was very easy. Would highly recommend.
Amazing mon style food that is very difficult to find in mawlamyine, although it is the capital of the mon state. Local ingredients, super tasty, fair prices and all for a good thing. Amazing!
