Majestic Family - Mayfield

Great food. The best fried chicken around. So much better than KFC plus it's a buffet so you get to eat as much as you want.

On our first visit, everything was fine except for the salad bar issue. During our second visit, we ordered a pizza that came with an incorrect topping. Instead of making a fresh one, they simply removed the unwanted toppings and returned it to us. My husband had to send it back again for a proper replacement because it's unacceptable to expect someone to eat food that has been altered like that. Unfortunately, our third experience today was the worst. Both the salad and cucumbers on the bar had hair in them. The dressing bottles were sticky and filthy, which was just unpleasant. The chicken and side dishes on the buffet were bland, though I will say the ham was decent. The floors were littered with food and silverware wrappers that diners just walked over, spreading the mess around. When I brought up the issue of the hair in the food, no action was taken. I expected them to replace the salad and vegetables with fresh ones, but that didn't happen. There was no apology, and we were still charged full price for our meal. I hope the owner sees this and implements the necessary changes with the staff and food quality!

We are thrilled to award Ace's the "Tastes Like Home" accolade. Having grown up on Chicago-style pizza, Ace's has become our go-to spot whenever we're craving pizza. The journey to Murray is absolutely worth it!

We absolutely love Majestic! The atmosphere and the service are unparalleled, and the chef is fantastic! Our favorite dish is the shish kebab. They offer a wonderful buffet, and the salad bar is delicious, especially the potato salad!
