Li'l Jo's Bbq - Maynardville

So wanted to like this local place. But ughfor being named for bbq this was likely the worst we’ve ever had. We got a rack of ribs (they were so chewy and fatty we left them after trying to saw them apart to even eat a couple). Have NEVER left an entire anything behind at a bbq place. Also got a pound of brisket was way over cooked and super dried out. Was more like jerky. Sides were ehhh. We also tried an appetizer of the “smoked” cheese. Assumed it would be smoked on a smoker since this was a bbq place. But it was just a brick of smoked cheese from the grocery store and warmed up in a microwave and stuck in a plate with some Ritz crackers. Ordinary. Pizza was yuck. Crust wasn’t cooked all of the way. Doughy. Guess we should have tried the catfish. It looked the most edible of the orders we saw going out.n wasn’t enough wait staff either unfortunately but she did great trying to keep up.

Went in and waited to be seated. No one approached me so I sat at a booth. Had about 10 customers and about 8 or so workers. I sat for a while, maybe 5-10 minutes. No one even looked at me. So I left never to return. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
