The Linden Tree At Carton House

I was very disappointed with our meal. We visited on Sunday and ordered the steak, which was supposed to be medium, but some parts were rare and barely warm—I couldn’t eat it. The staff was really nice and efficient, but we were disheartened to learn that they don’t receive the tip when it’s added to the bill. This is quite disappointing and would deter us from coming back.

We had made reservations for our anniversary dinner, but upon arriving at the restaurant, we discovered it was closed for the day. The hotel did not even bother to inform us. We had a confirmation prior to our reservation, which I confirmed, but it seemed to be just a formality. We were at the Carriage House, and we were incredibly disappointed, as we had hoped to dine under the linden tree.

The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing, the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly. We will definitely visit again. Thank you!
