Ruth's Chris Steak House Paramus

I haven't visited this restaurant in some time, but I felt the need to address my recent experience. First and foremost, I must say that the bartending staff is exceptional. They have engaging personalities and are extremely attentive. Without them, our meal would have been a complete disappointment. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the veal ravioli and stuffed mushrooms, which were both delicious. For our main courses, I ordered a medium rare porterhouse steak with a side of lobster mac and cheese, while my fiancée opted for the Ruth's special filet and lobster tail. The dishes were cooked perfectly, but unfortunately, my porterhouse steak was overcooked. The chef had already cut the steak before realizing the error, which was quite baffling. The management offered to prepare a new steak, but their lack of apology and indifference was disappointing. After waiting for an extended period of time, I decided to take the steak to go. The manager threw in a few free desserts, one of which was already included in my fiancée's meal. This experience left a sour taste in our mouths, and we were disappointed with the lack of care and customer service. I would recommend trying El Cid or Prime 94 instead. Overall, it was a disappointing night out for us. Thank you for nothing.

We absolutely adore this place and the staff is consistently friendly. Our top choice for bartender is Henry, as he crafts the most delicious drinks.

Food portions have decreased over the years and prices increasing which is disappointing.
