Tacos El Compa Est.1995 - Maywood

I have called this place not once but three different times to place an order for pick up they give me a time of 20 min to pick up, I get there and the lady makes me wait an extra 45 min to 1 hour after I get there 25min from the time I called in my order. Even King Tacos doesn’t make wait that long. People save your money and TIME go elsewhere.

I really love this place, the customer service is really nice and the lady is so respectful and kind. I love coming to this place always get a good experience and the food is really good, one of the few places that have the taste of home made.

So...The place is located in a very small plaza...you can see it driving on Slauson Ave.Not enough parking space and to get out of there it will take time. The place is really nice and clean, gotta love the decorations. Flavor of the meat is good. But to keep the only reason why I give it 3 stars is because when you read and hear they make real original mexican gorditas, what you spect is that.. real original mexican gorditas and my family and I got disappointed when we saw the way they were preparing them and the ingredients and preparation are lacking way to much from beginning to end specially with the prices. Maybe I will give it another try with a different item from the menu. Maybe not.

This restaurant is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, especially the birria and pozole. The owner was a standout, providing excellent service.
