Cafe Playa Sur - Mazatlán

Cafe Playa Sur has been closed. It was a wonderful place with a special atmosphere, and a great gathering place for friends. I will miss it terribly, along with the owner and operator, O'Neil. He was a wonderful man who did amazing things for Mazatlan. Rest in peace, friend.

Only had time for a coffee here but was pretty busy and popular. The food looked fresh and the pies looked really good. Cappuccinos were quite good.

Great food and great service! While visiting Maz for 13 days I ate at Cafe Playa Sur 5x They speak English, they have WIFI and it's on the main road to Centro Historical so a safe and easy walk from and to the cruise ships

They serve a fantastic breakfast, all fresh and made to your wishes. Always accompanied with some fruit and the coffee is always hot. Your choice to sit outside next to the fountain or inside with AC. The Cafe is also open for lunch with a variety of scrumptious dishes. Prices are very reasonable.

Visited here after our walk up to the lighthouse, English spoken good menu with seating inside and out. Also wifi available to customers, plus washrooms clean
