I had the imperial garnel that was really tender. my wife had the grilled fish and really enjoyed it. the prices here are really reasonable. A...bit cheaper than somewhere we've eaten so far. this was a great meal for a great price with really friendly staff.
Directly at the main train. service was great. baked fish was a good part, directly cooked. not fancy eating only good mom and pop place.
This rest is one of our faves in the golden zone. hubby and I love the friendly staff, the authentic Mexican food and the reasonable prices. my personal favorite is the chicken enchiladas, but I also enjoyed the veggie omelette. hubby thinks you coffee is very awesome. it is one of our places of access to eat in gz.
Our first night in town, and we came upon this place. Open air restaurant, and not super busy. We sat down and the waiter was friendly and helpful, joking around with us as well. The food was great, and I loved the refried beans! Didn't...taste at all like the reconstituted refried beans you get at many restaurants in the US. I ordered a fruit smoothie too. I'd skip it next time...way too sweet, as though extra sugar was added in. I will go back if I get back to Mazatlan!
Food was decent, nothing special. Like much of the food in Mexico, it is very basic, the same ingredients. My lunch partner was my landlady who went to the same two or three restaurants all the time. The worst part of the meal was listening...to her yammer on, talking over me, not listening or even caring. What a bore!
