Juan John's Fresh Mex - Mazatlán

If you're looking for a breakfast or lunch place where the food and service is outstanding this would be the place. It's in a newer stripe mall near the Liverpool Mall. In other words this is not the historic area or the Zona Dorado. The young people running and working in this place are trying very hard to make a go of it - hard for any restaurant let alone one on a seasonal tourist town. This is a very casual place with low prices. The egg burrito and the carne asada burrito were the best we've ever hard. This isn't a place to hangout or, in our view, to go for dinner but it's a great breakfast and lunch restaurant

Ate here on someones recommendation and weren't impressed. It was a lower end place but was clean and the waiter spoke English and was attentive. The one thing that looked good was the fries. Many restaurants seem to use packaged fries but these were wedges and others said they were good.

I've dined here a few times now and I love it! I've even started getting cravings for the burritos or fish tacos. Any of the menu items can be customized to your liking. I highly recommend the California Burrito with added guacamole. If you don't eat meat ( which I don't) you can substitute chicken or fish which are both great. Good place to eat if you are on the go, 1 lb burritos will leave you satisfied for the majority of the day. Thanks Juan Johns!
