Contribuisci feedbackThai O’Cha is the absolute best Thai in the Indianapolis area. Everything is so flavorful and delicious! Clean, quiet, but it’s really about the food. My husband and I crave your food all the time. Have you closed? I hope you all are doing alright. We think of you often and thank you so much for your wonderful food!
Decided to do take out tonight since it was so hot out and saw many great reviews for this place.I pulled in and the parking lot was empty- walked in and immediately was greeted by a man (perhaps owner? with a genuine “hi how are you!”Ordered the Curry Puffs, their flavor is absolutely delicious with the perfect amount of “spice” without heat- however I was sad to see there were only 2 in the to-go container for $7.99… there is a thick crust around the edge that takes up a lot of “room” and tastes like pie crust. I’d be ecstatic if there were at least …3? 4?…Crab Rangoons were a little disheartening as well, $8.99 for a total of 5, with the inside tasting absolutely delicious but mostly “crust”… ordered 2 Beef Pad Thai. I prefer mild and my other half prefers spicy. This being our first time here I ordered him a “hot” and it sure is! The portions are absolutely amazing, enough for lunch the next day. The noodles are cooked perfectly and the steak was very tender. I asked for peanut sauce on the side, and got a cup of peanut bits. Overall the plate had soaked up most of the “sauce”. We will definitely be back for the Pad Thai, but unfortunately are not too happy about the appetizers.
When I'm nearby and have time, this is always a top of the list spot. The food is great but what does it for me is the staff. They've always been nice and helpful. If you ask how spicy something is, they tell the truth. So if you get towards the hotter end of the spectrum, it is hot! Mussamun Curry is good and the lemongrass soup is top notch.
My friend and I walked into an empty restaurant, but were still excited based off reviews we’d seen. We stood in the front for a moment until a woman came out from the back. She stared at us for a bit, without greeting, before asking “dine in?” We both replied “yes, thank you” and she proceeded to pull out two menus, walk to a table and throw them down before disappearing into back again. We sat down for all of 1 minute before deciding to leave. The entire encounter felt rude and awkward. Disappointed we didn’t get to try the food, but happy we didn’t stay to be treated poorly.
The food is phenomenal. The staff is great and the owner is the best! They serve authentic Thai food for a great price!
