A&w - McAlester

This is our go-to spot for fish and chips in the area, and we really enjoy the root beer they serve. The food is served quickly and the service is generally fast as well. The only downside is that they play the local radio station quite loudly in the restaurant, which can be a bit overwhelming.

Stopped in ordered 2 simple cheeseburgers. the ticket has not shown, asked if the hey simple and was said. 4 times in demand and still they messed it up. I asked for money back and met mcdonald. the service was pathetic and the gal was a ditz. last time I eat the landfill. the place was dirty, soil greasy. I can't even think of a good thing. Maybe that's gonna go bankrupt. that would be the best for this city.

There was one other couple in here, but the place hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. It wasn't busy enough to explain the terrible state of cleanliness. The fries were made this week, maybe. There are enough places to eat in McAlester without ever needing to stop here. Find that place.

This place sucks. My one and only visit I got cold fries and no ice cream for a float. There are holes in the walls seats. The place smells bad. They also cook the fries in the same oil as the fish so they come out tasting like fish. All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This burger has a classic, old-school feel reminiscent of the 1980s. It is made quickly and properly, and tastes great. (I don't know all the details)
