This is a great place to grab a healthy, tasty lunch! It’s a small place in the back of a cute gift shop that has great choices that are very filling! It’s unique in location and its menu which makes eating there a fun experience. Owner is very friendly and seems to really appreciate her customers.
We decided to stop here on our way home from Branson. We are so happy that we did. The food was absolutely delicious, and the chocolate chip cookie was one of the best I have ever had. I will make sure to stop here when I am ever in the area!
This place is the best for lunch in McAlester or anywhere close! Everything is so fresh and delicious. Soups are amazing, salads are so flavorful and the sandwiches are just amazing. And it’s inside a really great shop! It’s my favorite place to eat in this town.
This is one of my top local favorites but for the past couple years it's been all to-go orders for me. It's a place that offers a rotation of fresh ready made sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, and sweet treats. Theres almost always gluten free and vegetarian options available. I felt it was time to post a review after I recently brought here an out of town friend for a dine in lunch. It met her desire of something light but with local charm. Since LeSalt offers a pick two combo, my friend had the chicken enchilada soup and mixed berry salad. She was pleasantly surprised by the quality, freshness, and flavors of her meal. The soup was served perfectly warm and topped with the optional cheese and sour cream. The salad was lightly dressed with so many fresh berries and maple pecans. My usual is the salad sampler and I'm often faced with a hard decision of three from at least four options but sometimes more. This time it was egg salad, slaw crunch, and cheese tortellini. The egg salad is my all time favorite because it's never too heavily dressed (lets the eggs shine! but still so incredibly tasty with fresh herbs. The slaw crunch is kale, cabbage, carrots, dried cranberries and pecans. Again, lightly dressed but slightly sweet, bright, and incredibly crunchy. The cheese tortellini is in a pesto dressing and pretty sure it's a bright blanched broccoli. It's always al dente, has such a creamy cheese and perfectly cooked broccoli with a little firmness. Don't pass on the sweet treat! I bought a delectable cookie as well but didn't get a picture. Their fresh brewed tea is always good but they offer several other drink options as well. Service is always friendly and my questions about ingredients or flavors are kindly answered. The little seating area is comfortable with several tables and chairs along with one large circular booth. Check out their Facebook page for daily updates on the fresh tasty options available the day of your visit; however, I'm confident something delicious will be waiting on you.
