Costa Messa Main St. - McAllen

Absolutely fantastic food! The service was exceptional (thank you, Ruben!). It was some of the best cuisine I've tasted in Texas. Our server, Ruben, recommended the ideal starter and main course. My coworker and I were thoroughly pleased and are already planning a return visit while we're still here. Our drinks were always topped off, the staff was very attentive, and parking was a breeze. I highly recommend the Costa Mesa appetizer, which features mushrooms, cheese, and paprika — it’s definitely worth trying, although they have plenty of other great options as well. Overall, highly recommended. Cost: moderate/great value/large portions.

My wife and I have made it a rule for our winter trips to the South: we never eat at the same restaurant twice, no exceptions! We search for dining options that have at least 4.0-star reviews on Google, focusing on the type of cuisine we're interested in. Costa Rica Mesa, with a rating of 4.3 stars based on 513 reviews, definitely lived up to its reputation. In our opinion, it deserves every one of those stars, and we’d even add an extra 0.7 for a full five-star experience! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the prices were just right!
