When you walk in this place you can't help but notice the huge pizza oven, and the yummy aroma of freshly madepizza. Once seated we ordered our drinks and fried cheese as a starter. My son and I started looking at the menu, we almostchanged our minds on pizza. There were some very good pasta dishes to choose from, the Fruit de Mari really caught my eye on themenu and even more when it majestically passed by on the way to a table behind us. Anyways, our large pillows of friedcheese arrived along with free garlic knots, but before we started eating, we ordered a Gourmet meat pizza and traditionalbuffalo wings. I also ordered a Caesar salad to eat with my pizza. We enjoyed the fried cheese, the sauce, and the portionsize. Our pizza arrived in a timely manner and looked awesome. The first bite tells all, and the crunch this had, along with thesauce, meats, and cheese, was singing notes of deliciousness to my taste buds. The wings did take a minute but as I wasinformed, that they are not pre-made like so many wing places. Honestly, what a great difference fresh wings made to order tastelike. The owner stopped by to say hi, we started talking about lasagna, and the next thing I know, he's bringing me a sample totry. I am so glad we chose lasagna to talk about. Also I want to mention that the service was outstanding and our server was soprofessional in mannerisms, this really made a difference in our total dining experience. I can't wait for my next visit, I'lltake my wife next time and have the pasta.
Cozy place across from HEB on N 10th. We had a generous pour of house wine, ice water and garlic knots to start. My husband got spaghetti pomodoro which he said was just ok, the pasta tasted a little starchy. My small vegetarian pizza was so delicious andfresh. The service was prompt and attentive. Next time I want to try the lasagna. Overall, this is a reasonably priced Italiancafe with a nice atmosphere.
